It's Ladies First at "Women & Weed" in Hollywood

Women & Weed is a female network created to show Los Angeles natives, transplants, and tourists that women play a significant role in leading businesses in the cannabis industry. For the fourth installment of Women & Weed, cannabis influencer UpWithV moved the event to the Paragon Space for the first time, which is a cannabis work space started by a woman. Women from California and beyond came from all over to celebrate women in weed with the most unique selection of vendors and sponsors including My Bud Vase, Shanti Wellness, Phuckette Cannabis, Re'laks Tranquility Lounge, The Mystic Rebel Healing Co., and many more female-driven brands. Some of these women have worked in the industry for decades, while other ladies have just started, which makes Women & Weed the perfect place for cannabis enthusiasts to meet and make new friends. Fortunately, there will be more events from Women & Weed that continue to cultivate a sanctuary for women to network, thanks to V, who first sparked this supportive and empowering space for women.

Rock icon David Crosby is not one to mince words - even when criticizing himself, which is a recurring theme in the new documentary 'David Crosby: Remember My Name.' And he's just as unapologetically candid when the cameras are off, I learned after chatting with Crosby over the phone to discuss the premiere of the doc, which opens this weekend (July 19) in New York and Los Angeles. So far, the doc has received excellent reviews from critics who find his frankness refreshing in an age when so many public figures are afraid to go off script and drop their filters. "Nobody does that anymore," Crosby told Civilized.
