Rapper T.I. Calls Cynthia Nixon A 'Brilliant Lady,' Praises Marijuana Stance

It seems that The Rubber Band Man doesn't think Cynthia Nixon's controversial campaign is a stretch.

T.I. - the Atlanta rapper best known for influencing the hip-hop sub-genre of trap music - is now placing his support behind New York Democrat Cynthia Nixon. In a recent tweet, the performer called Nixon a "brilliant lady" and celebrated her progressive stance on marijuana policies. He even said she was invited to his next backyard BBQ.

Since T.I. still lives in Georgia he won't actually be able to vote for the New York gubernatorial hopeful, but it never hurts to have a little star power behind your campaign.
