Hear Siri Talk About Cannabis And How She Scared A Little Kid On Halloween

Last week we published a story about the woman who was the original voice of Siri, Susan Bennett, who is speaking at the New West Summit this weekend in San Francisco.

We now realize that story, We Had A (Real) Conversation With Siri, was a bit of a tease because we didn't include the audio recording of the interview Tess Allen conducted with Bennett.

So for your listening pleasure, here are two excerpts from that conversation. First, hear Bennett talk about how she got invited to speak at the conference, and introduce keynote speaker Richard Branson, after she followed conference organizer Jim McAlpine on Twitter. She also shared her views on the legalization of cannabis:

We'd be remiss if we didn't include Bennett doing her Siri voice, so Allen asked her to do that with a special nod to Civilized. She also shares a Halloween story, in which she freaks out a little kid who didn't believe she was actually Siri.

The New West Summit is taking place at San Francisco’s Hyatt Regency October 14-15. Civilized is a Gold Sponsor of the event. You can register online until Oct. 15.

Why Cold Showers?Short bursts of cold water have some pretty astonishing health benefits. Cold water hydrotherapy has been used in high-end spas for years to invigorate, close up pores and brighten the skin. Cold water therapy has also been used for thousands of years in traditional systems of healing such as Kundalini Yoga.
