While Halloween and Friday the 13th may be some of the most popular horror movie franchises, that doesn't mean you should be showing them to your kids, unless you want them to have nightmares about beheadings and stabbings. So what scary movies do kids like to watch?

Now, I would argue most of these aren't scary movies. But then again I'm 26-years-old. Perhaps if I were two decades younger I would find some of these movies a little freaky. Although Beetlejuice legitimately has some freaky parts in it that I remember being scared of when I was younger. But then again, I can't really imagine the person who watches ET and thinks it's super scary.
Still, it's better than bringing your seven-year-old to the new Halloween movie where a guy literally gets his face stomped in.
