In Facebook’s growing efforts to increase their video content, they are introducing Facebook live stream for Major League Soccer games. Starting on March 18, fans will be able to watch 22 regular season games on the social media platform. The deal between Facebook, Major League Soccer, and Univision also includes 40 exclusive “Matchday Live” analysis shows produced by MLS. Soccer isn’t the only game Facebook is hoping to live stream. They are also in talks with Major League Baseball. Twitter also made its way into live sports broadcasting in April with Thursday night NFL games.
