'Everyone Have a Puff,' Kim Kardashian Told Guests at her Cannabis-Themed Baby Shower

Just days before bringing home her newest child, Kim Kardashian celebrated with a cannabis and relaxation-themed baby shower.

The 38-year-old reality TV star and social media influencer turned to cannabis over the weekend to help her de-stress before baby number four arrived via surrogate. On Sunday, Kardashian hosted a baby shower centering around the trendiest wellness product of the day: CBD, the non-intoxicating cannabis compound that's become a popular tool to combat anxiety and other health issues.

The shower was attended by a number of other huge stars such as Chrissy Teigen, Larsa Pippen, Paris Hilton and Olivia Pierson—all of which were treated to an open bar of CBD products.

"So because I'm freaking out and the baby's coming in like two weeks I thought what better way to celebrate than to have a little CBD, and we're gonna do a sound-bath and were gonna meditate," Kim K said at the event.

"This will only be ten minutes but I thought it was be cool for us to do. So everyone have a puff or put on some oil."

As CBD wellness products are showing up more and more on the shelves of luxury retailers across the country, it perhaps isn't too surprising to see some of the biggest names on the internet embracing the trend.

While Kardashian isn't regarded as a cannabis icon by any means, her decision to embrace at least this one section of the burgeoning US legal cannabis market proves that marijuana is quickly going mainstream. Love it or hate it.

This in turn has led to increasing interest in urban beekeeping, pollinator gardening and urban bee advocacy. Yet there is also a growing backlash against urban honey bees.
