Donald Trump Jr. is businessman and former reality TV personality most known as the oldest child of the 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump. Before he followed in his father’s footsteps as a businessman, Trump Jr. attended the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business also like his father. After graduating, Trump Jr. moved to Colorado where he worked as a bartender, to enjoy the outdoors for a year until he eventually joined his father’s real estate company. He quickly moved up the ranks in his father’s company, eventually making an appearance on “The Apprentice” as a judge. Now that Donald Trump has taken on all duties as president of the United States, he can no longer oversee his business empire, which is now in a trust controlled by both Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
In addition to his business duties, Trump Jr. has responsibilities as the son of the president of the United States, which include his Twitter presence. Trump Jr. has discussed marijuana on Twitter, where he’s expressed his stance on the issue in regards to the Second Amendment. Under the Gun Control Act of 1968, Americans can’t possess guns if they consume cannabis, which a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld in 2016 when a woman challenged the law claiming that it violated the Second Amendment. Trump Jr. agreed with the woman, “What about those taking other prescription medications? Where's the line? Just another chip off the block of Liberty.”
