Dark Knight, Caped Crusader, World’s Greatest Detective, whatever you know him as, Batman is proof that a superhero doesn’t need superpowers in the DC Universe. Batman is a fictional superhero who first appeared in the Detective Comics #27 in 1939 and has since become one of the most popular superheroes. When Batman isn’t fighting crime, he’s living as his secret identity, millionaire Bruce Wayne, founder of Wayne Enterprises. When Wayne was just a young boy, he watched his parents die during a mugging in Gotham City, so he’s dedicated his life to becoming the world’s greatest weapon against crime. Batman has become one of the most feared superheroes because he’s a brilliant detective and strong fighter who takes on some of the biggest and baddest villains. He of course can’t take down evil by himself, so he confines in his butler, legal guardian, friend, and partner, Alfred Pennyworth. Batman and Alfred have also worked and fought against the likes of Poison Ivy, Superman, Joker, Catwoman, and Robin.

Another character and enemy to add to this list of characters is Floronic Man. He appeared in the comic book series “Batman: Shadow of the Bat”, with Poison Ivy. In the comic, when Floro is decapitated, he regrows the rest of his body using the nearest plant, cannabis. Floronic Man is unlike any other villain, “Unlike most villains, I don’t want to rule the world -- I only want to get it STONED!” He starts flooding Gotham City with “super-skunk”, but Batman is there to stop him, “FLORO? You’ve been pushing the super-skunk in Gotham,” and he re-decapitates Floro to save the city from floods of marijuana. As the World’s Greatest Detective, Batman has to have a clear mind, so he made sure to rid the city of Floro’s cannabis.
