Jimmy Buffett is Opening A Bunch of Senior Homes

Get excited, Parrotheads (but not too excited, given your age apparently.) Jimmy Buffett is known for his Margaritaville restaurants, hotels, casinos, resorts, vacation clubs, merchandise, and now a senior home. Buffett announced that Margaritaville senior-living homes are coming to Daytona Beach, Florida. The community will be home to almost 7,000 houses with access to a fitness facility, spa, live entertainment, and the beach. The two to three-bedroom homes will feature a den and garages in the golf cart-friendly neighborhood.The first residents, aged "55 and better", are expected in late summer 2018.

The Bankers Associations of every US state have voiced their support for allowing legal marijuana businesses access to banking services. As it stands right now, legal marijuana businesses in the US are largely banned from accessing the key banking services that nearly all legitimate business now rely on. Current federal regulations are such that if a bank does choose to work with state legal cannabis businesses, they can be prosecuted under money laundering laws for dealing with an industry that is still illegal on the federal level.
