Celebrate Legalization With this 'Oh Cannabis' Karaoke Song

The countdown to Canadian legalization is finally over because cannabis is now officially legal in all of Canada. October 17, 2018 will be remembered as an important day in history that changed the face of cannabis culture in all of Canada, and all of the world. Now, adults older than 19 (18 in Quebec, for now), can use and purchase cannabis in government-run dispensaries that are now open across all of Canada. The rules of consumption vary depending on the province you live in, which is worth celebrating with your new favorite karaoke song Oh Cannabis, written by Renee Percy and Ben Brooks.

Special thanks to Suzanne Waters, Kelci Hahn, Jennifer Haydn-Jones, Fletcher Sheridan, and Dylan Gentile for singing Oh Cannabis.

After leaving the Republican Party in protest over the GOP's refusal to impeach President Donald Trump, Congressman Justin Amash (I-MI) is trying to shake up the status quo again by filing a bill that would end federal cannabis prohibition in America. Amash's new bill bears a striking resemblance to the STATES Act, which was introduced to Congress last year by Senators Cory Gardner (R-CO) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). However, there is at least one key difference between the two bills.
