Chick-Fil-A has pretty much cornered the market on awesome fried chicken sandwiches. But it appears they have another southern food classic in their sights next.
Chick-Fil-A is testing mac and cheese in six cites across the United States of America. The goal is to see if there's enough interest to make it a menu item nationwide.
Spoiler alert: It is.
People on social media are absolutely flipping out about the mac and cheese. People are practically begging the fast food chain to not take the mac and cheese off the menu.
@ChickfilA please dont get rid of your mac and cheese. i need it for medical purposes.— ROB-B-Q (@bobbybongwater1) October 20, 2018
YALL CHICK FIL A HAS MAC AND CHEESE NOW pic.twitter.com/e7Twu4Qi3k— Cølin Maher (@colin_maher81) August 25, 2018
Apparently this isn't the first time Chick-Fil-A has tested mac and cheese. Back in 2017, the restaurant announced it was exploring adding the item to their menu as part of a "Family Style Meal." But obviously that hasn't come to fruition yet.
Perhaps this new push will finally get Chick-Fil-A to do what people want! Although we'd still rather they simply open up on Sundays instead.
