Cheech Marin Reminds California Cannabis Entrepreneurs To Register Their Businesses

With recreational marijuana set to become legal in California on January 1st, it's a big time for cannabis businesses in the state. So California's Secretary of State Alex Padilla decided to use a familiar face to encourage would-be canna-businesses to take the proper first steps.

In a new PSA, legendary comedian and cannabis enthusiast Cheech Marin tells prospective business owners about, a portal where aspiring entrepreneurs can register their business (as required by state law), and find business forms, licensing and tax information.
