Charlize Theron Says Her Mom Buys Her Marijuana

When we think about Hollywood celebrities who are open about their marijuana use, we typically imagine Seth Rogen or another goofy comedian of the same ilk. But it seems Charlize Theron may be the most open person in the entire world about her cannabis use.

Last week in an interview with E!, Theron admitted to being a "wake-and-baker" most of her life. And it seems that Theron is fully embracing her new stoner image, because she went on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, and gave more details about her cannabis use, and she even divulged who purchases her weed: her mom. Here's the interview:

Theron's recent marijuana tales may have something to do with her movie coming out tomorrow. Theron produces and stars in Gringo, a movie about a company that manufactures a "weed pill" that is supposed to revolutionize the medical marijuana market. The movie stars a number of stars besides Theron, including David Oyelowo, Joel Edgerton and Amanda Seyfried. So maybe Theron's trying to convince real-life stoners that her performance in the movie is grounded in real-life cannabis experience.

However, it doesn't seem to be helping the movie's reviews, because they're...not great.

On Flatbush Avenue, tucked amidst the nexus of four iconic Brooklyn neighborhoods (Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Fort Greene, and Prospect Heights), medical cannabis company Citiva opened up their newest location at the turn of the new year. Walking through the shiny glass door, you’re first struck by the sleek tidiness of the front lobby. Both the dispensary's resident pharmacist and receptionist greet visitors as they clear patients (as does any medical dispensary in the country) before allowing them through to the retail room.
