A coffee shop in London, England is putting a stress relieving spin on your cold glass of moo juice.
Michael Isted, a phytotherapist and development consultant with Rawligion, told Metro.co.uk that his goal was to create a CBD-based drink due to its celebrated medicinal benefits.
“People are using CBD for a wide spectrum of medical problems,” said Isted.
“It’s used for a multitude of different health issues, including anxiety, cancer (particularly the side effects of conventional treatment), pain relief, depression, and sleep disorders.”
The drink is said to taste kind of like almond milk, but with earthier undertones and a distinctly cannabis-inspired aftertaste.
Rawligion founder John Taba said numerous customers have claimed to experience feelings of “calm and tranquility” after consuming the product. But he added that it only has the desired effect if it’s consumed with care.
“It’s subtle, but so far all who have consumed the drink mindfully have felt the desired effect,” he said.
“I don’t mean to use the word mindfully in a hipster way, just more a case of someone actually paying attention to how they feel before hand, during drinking and afterwards instead of having it as a drink to wash down a meal with.”
Relax milk is currently only available at Rawligion, so you’d be wise to put London on your travel list.
