6 Cannabis Beverages You Can Easily Make at Home

The hottest trend in the cannabis industry right now is companies investing into marijuana-infused beverages. But you don’t need to wait for Coca-Cola to come out with their cannabis cola to enjoy a little marijuana in your drinks.

Here are six cannabis-infused beverages you can easily make at home yourself, assuming you live in a legal state:

1. Milk

Making cannabis milk is pretty simple. Simply put a steel bowl inside a pot of boiling water, also known as a double boiler, then add milk and cannabis to the steel bowl. Boil the mixture for 15 minutes, then lower the temperature and let it simmer for a few hours. The simply strain it, and you have cannabis milk! The best part is now you can use this milk to create cannabis milkshakes, cannabis coffee, hot chocolate, basically any other beverage that uses milk.

2. Lemonade

Nothing is better on a hot summer day than a refreshing glass of lemonade. Unless that lemonade also has cannabis in it. Essentially you just need to make a cannabis syrup by combining sugar, water and cannabis at a low boil. Then simply add your cannabis syrup to your normal lemonade mixture, either just in a glass or in the whole pitcher, and now you’ve got cannabis lemonade!

3. Tea

People have been making cannabis teas for literally thousands of years. It’s probably the most common way for people to drink cannabis even today. We would give you a recipe, but there are literally thousands already on the internet that are easily searchable.

4. Protein Shake

If you’re a fitness nut who also loves cannabis, then maybe a cannabis protein shake is for you. First, you just need to make some cannabis coconut oil by boiling regular coconut oil and marijuana together. Then add your new cannabis coconut oil into a blender with your normal protein shake ingredients. It might be the first type a protein shake is actually pleasant.

5. Vodka

Making cannabis vodka is a little tricky because you have to watch your temperatures. First put your cannabis in the oven at a low temperature for around 30 minutes. Then simply boil your vodka and add your cannabis to it. However, you need to make sure your vodka temperature never exceeds 170 degrees, because then it will start evaporating and that will ruin the point of it.

6. Water

Yep, you can even make cannabis water! All you need is a cannabis tincture or THC packet and add it to water. This is literally the easiest one on the list.

After a battery of tests and misdiagnoses, I was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease twelve years ago, and thus began a long battle with trial-and-error medical treatments. I changed my diet several times, even though my doctors didn’t seem confident it would change much (it didn’t), went to physical therapy for pain-related issues, and took so many different pharmaceuticals I can’t even begin to recall each and every one. My days were foggy due to side effects from pharmaceuticals, such as steroids, that made me feel worse than I did before I even took them.
