Canadians, Feeling Celebratory, Watched An Awful Lot Of Weed Porn on Legalization Day

While studies have always tended to conflict when it comes to marijuana’s effect on the libido, the idea of pot being legalized certainly seemed to inspire something in the nether regions of those in the North, considering Pornhub reported a 206 percent increase in cannabis-related searches in Canada on October 17.

The most common searches on the site included terms such as "smoking weed", "weed sex", "horny weed", "girls smoking weed", "ganja girls".

The Atlantic provinces seemed to be the most swept up in the excitement, with Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia claiming the top three spots for search popularity.

The site also stated that Canadians rank fourth overall in terms of world searches for weed porn, behind Kenya, Switzerland and South Africa, meaning they are 224 percent more likely to seek out sexy marijuana videos than citizens of other countries.

The number of searches quickly dipped back to (what is considered) normal just a few days after legalization, suggesting that there might be some validity to the rumors surrounding cannabis and the duration of sex.

Let’s at least hope the industry itself is more sustainable.

Latest.

After a battery of tests and misdiagnoses, I was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease twelve years ago, and thus began a long battle with trial-and-error medical treatments. I changed my diet several times, even though my doctors didn’t seem confident it would change much (it didn’t), went to physical therapy for pain-related issues, and took so many different pharmaceuticals I can’t even begin to recall each and every one. My days were foggy due to side effects from pharmaceuticals, such as steroids, that made me feel worse than I did before I even took them.
