Chelsea Handler is Coming to Canada This Fall - Get Your Tickets Now

If Canada is ready for cannabis, then it’s ready for Chelsea.

An accomplished comedian, actor and best-selling author with a long history of social activism and political advocacy, Chelsea Handler is known for always speaking her mind. Celebrated for her vocal support of equal rights and political literacy, as well as her unique insights into popular culture, Handler is always genuine, authentic—and, of course, wildly funny.

As an outspoken cannabis consumer, Handler has helped move the needle when it comes to cannabis reform. With her drive, determination and ability to enact change, she certainly does not fit the ‘stoner’ stereotype. Instead, she is the role model that cannabis advocacy need as Canada moves towards legalization in October.

This fall, Handler and Civilized publisher Derek Riedle will be staging town hall events across Canada, hosting intimate conversations on pertinent issues such as politics, cannabis and culture, encouraging audiences to stand up, speak up, and have their voices heard.

The conversations will present an honest and humorous approach to the social movement forming around cannabis, and help to remove negative perceptions and stigmas surrounding cannabis that provide fuel for detractors and prevent the canna-curious from trying cannabis for the first time.

On Flatbush Avenue, tucked amidst the nexus of four iconic Brooklyn neighborhoods (Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Fort Greene, and Prospect Heights), medical cannabis company Citiva opened up their newest location at the turn of the new year. Walking through the shiny glass door, you’re first struck by the sleek tidiness of the front lobby. Both the dispensary's resident pharmacist and receptionist greet visitors as they clear patients (as does any medical dispensary in the country) before allowing them through to the retail room.
