Ben & Jerry's Has Released A Bob Marley Ice Cream And Oh My God

There are few things in this world capable of uniting us all in the name of feeling alright. Bob Marley and ice cream are two of those things.

And now, thanks to the brilliant (and cannabis-friendly) brains at Ben & Jerry’s, we can enjoy those two beautiful things together.

Bob Marley’s One Love ice cream by Ben & Jerry’s has officially hit select stores, offering patrons a full pint of “banana ice cream with caramel swirls, graham crackers, and fudge peace signs.”

If that mouth-watering combo somehow isn’t enough to sway you, a portion of the sales from the One Love ice cream will go toward the One Love Youth Camp, a Jamaican program run by the Bob Marley Foundation and Partners for Youth Empowerment.

"Bob Marley stood for more than just music – he advocated for social change and inspired millions to think about peace, love, and equality," said Ben & Jerry's co-founder Jerry Greenfield in a press release.

"Ben & Jerry's has long strived to champion love and social justice, and by partnering with the Marley family, we're happy to play a small role in supporting Marley's vision for a sweeter world."

It may not be cannabis-infused ice cream, but this should certainly tide us over until that magnificent idea comes to fruition.

After making progress on marijuana reform, the legalization movement has stalled in two New England states. Cannabis became legal in Vermont last July, but state lawmakers did not put a regulated market for marijuana in place at that time. So while adults in Vermont can possess, grow and consume cannabis, they can't buy it legally.
