Binge-Watchers Beware: Netflix Announces Price Hike

Pause that episode of "Narcos" and pay attention. Netflix is raising its monthly fee.

The streaming giant's standard plan will cost $9.99 per month for new U.S. customers effective Nov. 11th, 2015. The company's basic and premium plans will hold steady at $7.99/month and $11.99/month, respectively.

Habitual users need not panic just yet.

If you're already a subscriber you'll continue to pay the current fee of $8.99 a month until October 2016.

You may now resume your regularly-scheduled binge-watching.
