Here Is the Best Hotel in the World, According to TripAdvisor

For some people, choosing a hotel for a vacation is not very important because it's just a place where you'll sleep during your trip. For others, it's literally the most important thing to plan for your vacation. If you're in the latter group, then we have a great recommendation for you.

Tulemar Bungalows and Villas in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica was recently named the best hotel in the world by users on TripAdvisor. One of the hotel's biggest selling points is an $18 "Sloth Walk" where guests are given a guided tour Sloth Institute Costa Rica where they see tons of birds, monkeys and (obviously) sloths. The hotel also has private villas, verandas overlooking the ocean and large infinity pools. But there are probably dozens of hotels with the same offerings in Costa Rica alone. But none of them can offer a Sloth Walk!

Hotels in Italy, Cambodia, Taiwan and Austria made up the rest of the top five for the best in the world. The number six hotel in the world was also the first on the list from the United States, and it's in...Charleston, South Carolina? Yep, that's right. The French Quarter Inn in Charleston was named the sixth best hotel in the world, and the best in the United States.

Unfortunately, we don't think they're offering any Sloth Walks, so we won't be booking a reservation there anytime soon.

2020 presidential candidate Cory Booker (D-NJ) has announced a plan to grant clemency to thousands of people serving time for federal drug convictions. Last Thursday, Booker released his 'Restoring Justice' plan, which would offer clemency to more than 17,000 individuals who are currently doing time for nonviolent drug convictions. Booker pledged to implement the plan immediately upon taking office via an executive order as a means to address the huge disparities in drug policing.
