Barack Obama Will Appear On Full Frontal With Samantha Bee October 31st

Happy Halloween to fans of mixing politics and comedy. TBS has announced on Twitter that President Barack Obama, who they refer to as a "legal scholar and former junior senator from Illinois", will continue his run of late-night TV appearances with an interview on 'Full Frontal with Samantha Bee' this Halloween night.

It's a Happy Halloween for us, and a Happy Birthday for Samantha Bee, who turned 47 just this week. She has been a rising star of late night TV over the past year. Her commentary has especially been widely shared over this election cycle, with some videos collecting more than 2 million views.

So it makes sense that Obama, who most recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and has gone viral a second time for his appearance on Kimmel's popular segment "Mean Tweets", would take notice of Bee's popularity.

TBS' press release notes that Obama wore "a flattering wool suit paired with sensible leather flats" in the pre-taped interview, and the conversation between Bee and Obama covered a range of topics, including the President's legacy and challenges that presumed Commander-in-Chief Hillary Clinton will face when she moves into the White House.

Tune in October 31st at 10:30PM (EST) to see the interview, or watch the inevitable viral video on social media the next day.

After a battery of tests and misdiagnoses, I was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease twelve years ago, and thus began a long battle with trial-and-error medical treatments. I changed my diet several times, even though my doctors didn’t seem confident it would change much (it didn’t), went to physical therapy for pain-related issues, and took so many different pharmaceuticals I can’t even begin to recall each and every one. My days were foggy due to side effects from pharmaceuticals, such as steroids, that made me feel worse than I did before I even took them.

Can we see some ID please?
