Ask a Budtender: What's a Pinner?

Megan L., a budtender — or in her words, a "cannabis consultant" — at 99 High Tide in Malibu opens up to us about the first time she got high (there was an earthquake as she was sneaking back into her parents' house), her favorite way to consume (standard joints), and old terminology for cannabis and pot smoking accessories. Perhaps you don't hear much about "chronic" these days, or "pinners," but you should still know what they refer to: In this case, good weed, and thin, tiny joints.

On the Season 2 finale of 'Cannabis & Main,' host Ricardo Baca sat down with cannabis influencer Alice Moon to talk about cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (CHS). CHS is a little understood medical condition that causes severe nausea and vomiting in some people who consume large amounts of cannabis over long periods of time. It's something Alice knows about first hand, having suffered from the condition herself.
