In the Golden Globe-nominated movie Hacksaw Ridge, British actor (and former Spider-Man) Andrew Garfield plays an American medic and conscientious objector during World War II. He spends most of the film's second half streaked in mud and gore as bullets whiz past him.
So it's good to know that Garfield knows how to relax and enjoy himself. In this clip from the red carpet at the Golden Globes this year, a reporter from Variety asked the actor about his well-publicized 29th birthday when he, then-girlfriend Emma Stone and some friends ate pot brownies and explored Disneyland.
He seems taken aback at first, but he gives an excellent response to the reporter's question:
“Either everyone’s done that or they want to do it," said Garfield. "I’m one of the many people that did it and had the greatest time ever.”
Nicely put. Check out the video below to hear him describe his day at Disneyland in great detail. The part about the pot brownies starts at 2:21.
"I almost bought a Chewbacca backpack. I was that stoned."
