America's Geography Is Much Weirder Than You Think

When you look at a map of the United States, it's impossible to not think it looks super weird. Almost every state is some bizarre shape with weirdly drawn borders that don't really seem to make any sense. But when you get into some of the details about America's geography, it gets even weirder.

For instance, there's a town in Texas that is closer to the state capital of six other states than it is to it's own capital in Austin. And did you know that the freezing tundra we know as Minneapolis, Minnesota is at about the same latitude as Venice, Italy?

The YouTube channel Real Life Lore decided to give a deep dive into all the weirdness of United States Geography. Take a look above.
