If Netflix users continue to watch Adam Sandler movies as much as they do, they’re going to turn into Billy Madison. According to Netflix’s Q1 earnings report it recently released, viewers apparently spent nearly half a billion collective hours watching Adam Sandler’s movies on the streaming service. That’s nearly 500 million hours of pure comedy. In 2004, Netflix signed a four-movie deal with the comedian and his production company Happy Madison Prods. In March 2017, this deal was bumped to include another four movies. His most recent film, “Sandy Wexler”, just premiered this month and is available to stream for all Netflix users.
