Georgia Mother Orders Moana-Themed Cake, Gets Marijuana Instead

A Georgia woman got a big surprise when she went to pick up a birthday cake she ordered for her adult daughter last week.

Kensli Davis said her mother had gone to a local bakery to order her a cake decorated with Moana—a Disney character from the 2016 film of the same name. However it appears as if there was a bit of a miscommunication as the cake she eventually got had a much more adult theme.

Instead of featuring the Polynesian Disney character, Davis' cake was decorated with a giant marijuana leaf and a My Little Pony-style horse smoking a joint.

While the cake was clearly not what Davis' mother had intended, Davis seemed to get a good laugh out of the mixup, and her Facebook post about the cake has since received more than 10,000 shares.

This isn't the only viral cannabis-related cake story to have made the rounds on the internet lately. Earlier this week, it was reported that a UK grandfather accidentally got several nurses high after giving them a cake he didn't realize was infused with weed as a thank you present.

Seeing as recreational cannabis remains illegal in Georgia, it's safe to say that the bakery didn't slip any actual marijuana into Davis' cake, at least.
