5 Worst Horror Movies to Watch While High

Halloween is soon, which means that more viewers are watching horror movie marathons in preparation for the scariest holiday of the year. There are some horror films that every movie viewer needs to see during these marathons, including “The Exorcist”, “Psycho”, and “When a Stranger Calls”. These particular scary films are especially fun to watch while high because the already scary movie experience becomes just a bit more scary. Some horror movies should not be mixed with marijuana though, because smoking makes these already scary movies just too scary.

The Silence of the Lambs”, is a classic psychological horror film that should be seen by every movie viewer, except high movie viewers. Clarice is in the FBI academy when she’s asked to interview the imprisoned psychopathic therapist Dr. Hannibal Lecter, to try and solve a current murder case. As she questions him, she realizes everything is a psychological game with Lecter, so she must choose her words carefully or he’ll get in her head. Smoking cannabis while watching this movie will only get Lester in the viewer’s head, increasing your paranoia to the point where the murders seem real, making this one of the worst films to watch while smoking. “ The Conjuring” is another movie that shouldn’t be watched while high because it’s also too real since it’s loosely based on the lives of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. So be sure to watch these movies when you’re in a very clear and safe headspace.
