5 Extremely Cute Dog Breeds That Are More Dangerous Than Marijuana

Many marijuana opponents claim that the drug is dangerous, even though there are no actual reported deaths from marijuana. Rather than create danger, marijuana does just the opposite with its healing properties, so many of these opponents are simply projecting their own fears of the drug onto the growing industry. When consumed responsibly, marijuana isn’t as dangerous as many claim, but there are actually some things that are far more dangerous even though they are used everyday. To the surprise of many, some dog breeds are among one of these things far more dangerous than cannabis.

First, Labradors are among one of the most popular dog breeds in the United States, which may make them even more dangerous. Even though many register Labradors as service dogs, the breed is known for being protective, which contributed to three deaths in 2016. Rottweilers are another popular dog breed that is also dangerous because it is the second most lethal dog breed in the United States. Together with pit bull terriers, Rottweilers accounted for 76% of the fatal attacks reported between 2005 and 2016. Meanwhile, marijuana accounted for zero fatal attacks.

If you’ve been following the news, you’ll know that more and more seniors are trying cannabis - and an encouraging new study suggests that it’s working rather well. NORML has reported on a new study from the journal Gerontology & Geriatric Medicine, regarding seniors who have used cannabis over the past year. Our readers will not be surprised to learn that marijuana improved their overall quality of life.
