2 Chainz Hits Up California's First Legal Cannabis Cultivator

Rapper 2 Chainz continues his never-ending quest to experience the very best that money can buy in this latest video from Viceland’s ‘Most Expensivest,’ wherein the Georgia native visits California’s first legal weed cultivator.

The short, loudly-produced clip follows 2 Chainz as he checks out operations at Canndescent, the first municipally permitted cannabis cultivator in California. While checking out the facility in the city of Desert Hot Springs, the rapper was joined by the local mayor for a chat.

While he may not be television’s most adept interviewer, 2 Chainz is clearly enjoying himself, and you can’t help but learn something, if just by exposure to this inside look at the cannabis industry. In keeping with the smoking theme, let’s call it a "second-hand education."

On Flatbush Avenue, tucked amidst the nexus of four iconic Brooklyn neighborhoods (Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Fort Greene, and Prospect Heights), medical cannabis company Citiva opened up their newest location at the turn of the new year. Walking through the shiny glass door, you’re first struck by the sleek tidiness of the front lobby. Both the dispensary's resident pharmacist and receptionist greet visitors as they clear patients (as does any medical dispensary in the country) before allowing them through to the retail room.
